Assistant United States Attorney Steven Gordon, who has been an attorney with the Department of Justice since 1995, is the Civil Rights Enforcement Coordinator for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Gordon’s ADA docket includes a wide variety of matters, including ADA effective communication cases against jails, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities, architectural barrier matters against medical providers and a large shopping center, and service dog cases. Mr. Gordon has worked on all phases of litigation, including investigations, trials and appeals.
