Our Diverse Schedule Offers Sessions Targeted to:

Architects/Builders/Building Code Officials
The schedule provides a learning track designed for professionals involved in the design and building industry. Sessions are presented by trainers from the US. Access Board, the agency that developed the 2010 ADA Standards of Accessibility that go into effect March 15, 2012. The Indianapolis Symposium will feature a track presented by the Internatioal Code Council.
ADA Coordinators
ADA Coordinators will find sessions designed specifically for their needs that provide strategies for effectively carrying out the role of an ADA Coordinator. These sessions are presented by ADA Coordinators with years of hands-on experience and trainers from the U.S. Dept. of Justice. An advanced "Issues Forum" is provided for experienced ADA Coordinators.
Disability Advocates, Service Providers, Individuals with Disabilities and their Family Members
A number of sessions address the issues that are critical to full inclusion and the quality of life for people with disabilities and their family members including emergency preparedness, effective communication, advocacy, transportation, health care, and the complaint process.
Human Resource Professionals
The passage of the ADA Amendments Act and the release of new regulations by the EEOC directly affect Human Resource Managers. A number of sessions are devoted to employment including an advanced "Issues Forum".
State and Local Government Officials
State and local government officials will have the opportunity to get clear, current information regarding the new Department of Justice Title II regulations directly from representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice.
