Cancellations received after May 15th will not receive a refund. Cancellations received prior to May 15th will be processed minus a $100 processing fee.  Substitutions may be made at any time, (either online or you may contact us to provide the name and contact information for the substitute.

No Fragrance & Smoke-Free Policy

Due to chemical sensitivities, we request that all staff, presenters, and participants refrain from using personal products that are heavily fragranced and from the use of any perfume or colognes while attending the National ADA Symposium. The entire conference area at the Hyatt hotel is also designated as smoke-free.

ADA Accommodations

If you need ADA accommodations, please be sure to specify the type needed when making your hotel reservations (i.e. wheelchair accessible room, roll-in showers, hearing impaired room, TTY, etc.)

Registering for Your Sessions

1. Before registering, review the session schedule and course descriptions to choose your sessions. We advise printing a copy of the session schedule to mark your selections before registering on-line.

2.Don't forget to look over the pre-conference/activity schedule for Sunday afternoon!

3. Once you have decided which sessions you want to attend, proceed to the on-line registration form. After submitting your form, you will receive immediate screen confirmation of your registration as well as a confirmation e-mail. 4. If you wish to register by mail or fax, a printer-friendly registration packet is also available for you to download. If you would like a registration packet mailed to you, please call 1-800-949-4232 or e-mail hamburgl@missouri.edu Large print copies are available upon request.

5. Once you have registered to attend the National ADA Symposium, be sure to reserve your hotel room in order to take advantage of the ADA Symposium room rates.

Pre-Conference Events

ADA Basics Session:(1- 4 p.m. Additional $50.00 fee to attend this session.)
Overview of Titles I, II, and III of the ADA. This session is highly recommended for attendees who are new to the ADA or need a refresher. The content level of this session will be basic information, only.

Accessibility Tour of the Coors Baseball Stadium: (1- 4 p.m. Additional $50.00 fee to attend this session.)
This session will take place at Coors Field home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Participants will be given an exclusive tour of the stadium and will get to see the accessibility features that the team has implemented so that the games and events can be enjoyed by all that come. Following the tour there will be a one hour stadium accessibility class taught by Nanette Bowles, ADA Coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball club and the Phoenix Suns basketball team. This class will focus on accessible stadium design requirements. Register early for this unique session. It is limited to the first 40 registants and will fill up quickly!

ACTCP Information Update
: (4:00 -5:00 p.m. No additional fee to attend)
This is a free informational session which provides an overview of the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP) and its services. If you have questions about ACTCP or want to know if the program is a good fit you, join Mike Edwards, ACTCP Coordinator for this session.

Networking Mixer (4:30 -6:00 p.m. No additional fee to attend) Enjoy a relaxed, informal atmosphere to meet fellow conference attendees, presenters, and Symposium staff. A light hors d'oeuvre buffet will be offered as well as a cash bar.

The National ADA Center is hosted by the Great Plains ADA & Rocky Mountain ADA Centers,members of the ADA National Network.
